U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama has expressed his support for President Donald Trump's executive order aimed at stopping the chemical and surgical procedures on minors related to gender transition. In a statement, Tuberville criticized what is often termed as "gender-affirming care," arguing that such practices are inappropriate for children whose decision-making abilities are not fully developed.

"We all know by now that so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ is anything but caring," Tuberville stated. He emphasized the restrictions placed on minors in other areas, such as purchasing alcohol or joining the military, to argue against allowing them to undergo "a life-altering, irreversible procedure." Tuberville described the practice as "pure insanity" and praised President Trump for his leadership in seeking to end it.

Senator Tuberville represents Alabama in the United States Senate and serves on several committees, including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, HELP (Health, Education, Labor and Pensions), and Aging Committees.
