U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) recently appeared on Fox Business with Larry Kudlow, alongside U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO), to discuss President Trump's cabinet nominations following his election victory. Tuberville emphasized the importance of swiftly confirming these nominees, interpreting the election results as a mandate for the administration.

During the interview, Tuberville expressed strong support for Howard Lutnick's nomination as Commerce Secretary. "No doubt, Larry," Tuberville said. He described Lutnick as both a capable businessperson and a dedicated American who aligns with the 'America First' agenda.

The discussion also touched upon the reauthorization of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Kudlow suggested that agencies like the CBO might undermine Trump’s tax cuts, to which Tuberville responded: "We don’t need to reinvent the wheel. We know what works." He stressed the need for regulatory reform and permanent tax changes to benefit Americans financially.

Concerns were raised about potential opposition to Matt Gaetz's confirmation as Attorney General and Pete Hegseth's as Secretary of Defense. Kudlow voiced worries about Senate resistance due to Gaetz's conservative stance. Tuberville acknowledged possible media scrutiny but insisted on focusing on facts over rumors: "We’ve gotta look at facts."

Tuberville assured that President Trump thoroughly vets his nominees and pledged support for them based on factual evaluations.
