Today, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville issued a statement regarding the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump. The Alabama senator expressed his views on the recent political transition and the expectations for the new administration.

Senator Tuberville criticized the previous four years, mentioning issues such as "dangerous open borders, soaring inflation, out-of-control crime, and disastrous foreign policy." He described these years as a "national nightmare" that has now concluded with Trump's inauguration.

Highlighting what he sees as achievements from Trump's first term, Tuberville stated: "During his first term, President Trump delivered the most secure border in history, a booming economy, law and order in our communities, and peace on the world stage—and today he will pick right back up where he left off."

Tuberville also emphasized his commitment to collaborating closely with President Trump. "I look forward to working hand in glove with President Trump to Make America Great Again," he added.

Senator Tommy Tuberville serves Alabama in the United States Senate and participates in several committees including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, HELP (Health, Education, Labor & Pensions), and Aging Committees.
