U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville has announced USMC Corporal Patrick Jump of Robertsdale as the November "Veteran of the Month." In a video release, Tuberville praised Jump's dedication to supporting veterans, particularly in mental health.

"The son of a Vietnam veteran, Patrick knew what he was getting into when he signed up for the military," Tuberville said. He recalled that Jump's commitment to service remained strong even after witnessing the events of September 11, 2001.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jump recognized an increased need for mental health support among veterans. What began as weekly virtual meetings with fellow soldiers evolved into a mission dedicated to helping veterans and their families. Jump traveled across 43 states before settling in Baldwin County, Alabama, where he founded the Warrior Legacy Ranch. This organization supports veterans dealing with mental health issues and works to prevent suicides among those who served post-9/11.

"Patrick’s efforts have not only helped veterans in Alabama but all across the nation," Tuberville noted. He emphasized Alabama's gratitude for Jump's service to those who have served honorably.

Senator Tuberville honors an Alabama veteran each month for their contributions to both military service and community. Nominations can be submitted by emailing press_office@tuberville.senate.gov.

Tuberville represents Alabama in the U.S. Senate and serves on several committees including Armed Services and Veterans’ Affairs.
