Today, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama extended his congratulations to Emory Cox on his new role within the Trump administration. Cox, who has served as Tuberville's Senior Economic Advisor for four years, will take on the position of Special Assistant to the President for International Economic Relations.

In a statement, Tuberville expressed his pride in Cox's appointment: "I am proud to announce that Emory Cox, who has been my Senior Economic Advisor for the past four years, has been hired by President Trump to serve as Special Assistant to the President for International Economic Relations." He highlighted Cox's contributions and experience in managing various economic portfolios including financial services and international economics.

Tuberville also remarked on the impact of Cox's departure: "Our nation will benefit from this Alabama patriot and I’m grateful for his service. While I am sad to see him go, I know he will be a great asset to Dr. Kevin Hassett, Scott Bessent, and President Trump’s entire team as they work to get the American economy booming again."

Senator Tuberville is currently serving Alabama in the United States Senate and participates in several committees such as Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, HELP (Health, Education, Labor & Pensions), and Aging.
