Today, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville spoke at a luncheon organized by PowerSouth Energy Cooperative in Andalusia, Alabama. During his address, Senator Tuberville emphasized his commitment to rural development and the need for improved access to rural broadband. He also highlighted the significance of restoring American energy independence.

PowerSouth Energy Cooperative provides wholesale power services to 16 electric cooperatives and four municipal electric systems across South Alabama, reaching over 480,000 customers.

Senator Tuberville serves as the Ranking Member of the Subcommittee for Rural Development and Energy within the Senate Agriculture Committee. He represents Alabama in the United States Senate and is a member of several committees including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, and HELP.
