U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) joined members of the Enterprise community to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the CSM Bennie G. Adkins State Veterans Home, which will serve veterans across the Wiregrass region.
"Today is a great day for our veterans in the Wiregrass region," Tuberville said. "This facility will provide much-needed care and support for those who have served our country."
The new state veterans home is named after Command Sergeant Major Bennie G. Adkins, a Medal of Honor recipient recognized for his service during the Vietnam War.
