U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama has partnered with Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas to announce the formation of the Congressional Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Caucus. This initiative aims to address nutrition, access to affordable and high-quality foods, healthcare transparency, and chronic disease prevention.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nominated by President Trump for Secretary of Health and Human Services, supports this new caucus. Earlier in the week, Senator Tuberville met with Kennedy to discuss his nomination and issues such as harmful chemicals in food and vaccine transparency. Recently, Tuberville also questioned FDA officials about the long-term effects of Red Dyes in food products.

"Earlier this week, I met with RFK Jr., President Trump’s nominee to lead the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services," said Senator Tuberville. "Like I told him, I’ve heard from young people across the country who are inspired by his message to Make America Healthy Again."

Senators Rick Scott from Florida, Cynthia Lummis from Wyoming, and Ron Johnson from Wisconsin join Tuberville and Marshall as founding members of the MAHA Caucus.

Senator Tommy Tuberville serves on several Senate committees including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, and HELP.
