A parole hearing was held today for Inmate John Daniel Dewberry.

A parole hearing was held today for Inmate John Daniel Dewberry. In September of 2006, Dewberry was charged with Murder for striking Ms. Jeanette “Renee” Lowe, his girlfriend, in the head several times causing her death. Within one hour, a Mobile County Jury found Dewberry guilty of Murder and was sentenced to Life for the death of Renee Lowe. Today he was denied parole and will not be reconsidered until 2027.

Renee’s Sister and Niece attended the hearing today in support of their loved one. Her family stated: “Stop Domestic Violence. Your family’s story doesn’t have to end like ours. Renee is always and forever in our hearts! Parole Denied!”
