U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) appeared on Newsmax's "National Report" to discuss his commitment to opposing the Biden administration's judicial actions and President Biden’s executive order on mass amnesty. Key excerpts from his remarks were provided, with the full interview available on YouTube and Rumble.

"The American people need to wake up. This is a war—this is a war on our constitutional rights and our constitutional republic," Tuberville stated. He emphasized that the issue transcends partisan lines, arguing that it concerns the preservation of longstanding national values. "So, basically at the end of the day, these Democrats are trying to... take away our rights, our health care rights, our gun rights, and our privacy rights."

Tuberville expressed concern over what he perceives as an ongoing effort by Democrats to erode fundamental freedoms. "We’re trying to get something over—even our Republican colleagues [are saying] ‘This can’t go any longer. We have to stop this train from going down this track.’ If we don’t, we will lose in November this upcoming year."

The conversation then shifted towards an anticipated press conference by President Biden regarding potential new limits on asylum seekers crossing the border. Host Shaun Kraisman mentioned speculation about setting a cap between 2,500 and 4,000 asylum seekers.

Tuberville criticized the administration's handling of immigration issues: "It’s been a catastrophe... They want to make it look like they are doing something, but they haven’t done a dang thing since I’ve been here." He further questioned the feasibility of enforcing such limits given current border patrol challenges.

Co-host Emma Rechenberg raised additional questions about implementation specifics for any proposed plan: "How are you counting this specific number? Does that go across the entire southern border?"

Finally, Tuberville addressed reports that members of Biden’s campaign team might use terms like "convicted felon" when referring to Donald Trump in fundraising efforts or public statements. He dismissed these tactics as ineffective: "I hope they keep pushing that narrative... This was not a fair trial; I went up there with President Trump one day and what a joke that was."

Senator Tommy Tuberville represents Alabama in the United States Senate and serves on several committees including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, and HELP.
