U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama expressed his support for the Senate budget, highlighting the importance of aligning with President Trump's agenda. After casting his vote in favor, Tuberville issued a statement emphasizing the priorities he believes are crucial for the nation.

"77 million Americans delivered a mandate when they voted for President Trump on November 5th. They want President Trump’s agenda, and they want it now," Tuberville stated. He stressed the need to secure the border and address issues related to terrorism, cartels, and drug trafficking. "Thanks to the leadership of President Trump, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and Border Czar Tom Homan, encounters at the border have plummeted."

Tuberville also underscored the necessity of providing adequate funding to complete border security measures. "We need to make sure the administration has the funding they need to finish the wall, support law enforcement, and detain and deport criminals," he added.

In addition to border security, Tuberville pointed out economic objectives such as tax reduction and spending control as part of delivering on what he termed as "the President’s economic mandate." He concluded by affirming his commitment to revitalizing the American economy.

Senator Tuberville serves on several Senate committees including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, HELP (Health, Education, Labor & Pensions), and Aging.
