U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama met with South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who has been nominated by President Trump to serve as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). During their meeting, they discussed border security, the completion of the border wall, and election integrity.
Senator Tuberville expressed his support for Noem's nomination ahead of her confirmation hearing. He stated, "I enjoyed meeting with Kristi Noem ahead of her confirmation hearing tomorrow. She will do an excellent job at DHS to secure our borders."
Senator Tuberville is a member of several Senate committees including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, HELP (Health, Education, Labor and Pensions), and Aging.
