U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) joined U.S. Senators John Boozman (R-AR) and Mike Braun (R-IN) in a roundtable discussion with members of the National Alliance of Forest Owners (NAFO). The meeting focused on supporting the timber and forest products industries across the nation, including Alabama, through investments in mass timber, forest management, critical forest, and wood carbon data.

Senator Tuberville is Alabama’s first elected Senator to serve on the Senate Agriculture Committee since 1997. As Alabama’s representative on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, he aims to ensure that Alabama’s rural and farming communities have a voice in key agriculture negotiations such as the Farm Bill.

In Alabama, NAFO member companies own 3,157,698 acres that support 15,226 jobs.

Senator Tommy Tuberville represents Alabama in the United States Senate and is a member of the Senate Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, and HELP Committees.
