Washington – Today, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville appeared on "Frontline" with Carl Higbie on Newsmax to address the Senate Democrats' decision to block an impeachment trial for U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

During the interview, Senator Tuberville expressed his frustration with the proceedings, stating, "Well, first of all, I don’t know how you describe it correctly, Carl—whether it was a three-ring circus or kangaroo court or organized grabass. I’m telling you, it was the worst four hours that I’ve spent up here in three years that I’ve been a United States Senator."

He emphasized that the issue at hand was not just about Mayorkas, but about holding all Democrats accountable, saying, "This is not just Mayorkas on trial here. This is every Democrat in the House, in the Senate, and in the White House."

Senator Tuberville criticized the decision to block the trial, highlighting the seriousness of the situation, "It is definitely a crime. This has never happened in the United States Senate." He further added, "Every Democrat in the House, in the Senate, and in the White House should have been on trial today because of what they’ve done at the border."

Regarding the motivations behind the Democrats' actions, Tuberville suggested, "They just—the Democrats are just mad at the world. I mean, they’re mad." He also pointed out the need for a change in leadership, stating, "And, of course, Donald Trump, you know, and the deep state, you can put all that in one big basket along with the Democrats. But you know, it’s just ever since I’ve been here, it’s just one thing after another where the Democrats just don’t want to do anything in terms of helping the American people."

Senator Tommy Tuberville represents Alabama in the United States Senate and serves on the Senate Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, and HELP Committees. His full remarks on the issue can be accessed on YouTube or Rumble.
