U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) has recognized U.S. Marine Corps Corporal Scott Croisant as the April “Veteran of the Month.” Speaking about Croisant, Senator Tuberville highlighted his dedication and service to the country and the community.
“In a time when we are facing shortages in the trucking industry, Alabama’s veterans are helping fill this vital need in our economy. One such veteran is Scott Croisant of Florence. Scott joined the United States Marine Corps in 1982 after graduating from Wilson High School. While in the Marines, he trained to become a truck driver,” Senator Tuberville said.
After his military service, Croisant transitioned to law enforcement before entering the trucking industry. He has been driving a truck for Greenbush Logistics out of its Tuscumbia location for over 24 years, accumulating an impressive record of driving more than two million accident-free miles.
Senator Tuberville praised Croisant not only for his professional achievements but also for his role as a mentor to new truck drivers. Croisant has trained nearly 100 new truck drivers, demonstrating his commitment to supporting and guiding the next generation in the industry.
Alabama residents are grateful for Croisant’s service and dedication, recognizing his tireless efforts to keep the state's economy moving. Senator Tuberville's initiative to honor a different Alabama veteran each month underscores the importance of acknowledging and appreciating the contributions of veterans like Scott Croisant.
