Mobile County Jury found Rodney Finklea GUILTY of the March 2020 Murder of Kalvin Matthews,
Yesterday, a Mobile County Jury found Rodney Finklea GUILTY of the March 2020 Murder of Kalvin Matthews, and also of the crime of Assault-First Degree. On March 1, 2020, Rodney Finklea stabbed Kalvin Mathews over 10 times in his arms and back, before turning the knife on his uncle, Joseph Finklea, and stabbing him in the back several times. Sentencing is set for 1/26/2023.
