Altaworx LLC was founded in 2003 to address emerging demand for Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) business telephone systems. The owner’s vision was to build a company that not only provided leading-edge technology, but truly focused on helping customers drive revenue, control expenses, increase their productivity and operate more efficiently. Today, Altaworx operates from two AT&T data centers in Dallas and Atlanta. With a focus on empowering resellers to build equity value in their business, Altaworx continues to grow and now has a presence in 46 states.
Altaworx’s mission is to always have a positive impact on its customers, employees, agents, resellers and vendors.
This mission builds on its core values: the desire to be the best in its industry; to have fun, be humble and help first; to take ownership and be responsible; and to grow, evolve and be respectful.
When the pandemic hit, the company went remote but didn’t miss a beat, offering virtual connections to its clients, and saw an uptick in VOIP sales. By investing in automating data flow, the company has increased profits and value to customers.
“We focus on business impact first and technology second,” said Rickie Richey, chief executive officer. “This means when we meet potential clients we focus on what we can do to make them successful over selling a product.”
