Dauphin Island issued the following announcement.
2022 Dauphin Island Native American Festival
Date: Saturday, March 26, 2022
Time: 9:00am-5:00pm
Location: Dauphin Island’s historic Indian Shell Mound Park
A celebration of the cultures that existed in the AL coastal region in the 1700s through the early 1800s, the Festival will feature live storytelling and authentic hands-on demonstrations of Native American life ways, food ways, recreational activities, and arts and crafts. Tickets are $10 for ages 5-12 & $15 for ages 13 and up. Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.dauphinislandarts.org. Tickets will also be on sale at Indian Shell Mound Park the day of the event.
