U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville has been appointed by President Trump to serve on the Board of Visitors for the U.S. Air Force Academy. In response to this appointment, Tuberville expressed his gratitude and shared his perspective on the role of military service academies.
“Our Military Service Academies should be building LEADERS for the greatest fighting force on earth…not ‘social justice warriors.’ I’m honored to be part of helping to restore that mission. Thank you, Mr. President!” stated Tuberville.
Earlier in the year, Tuberville was named Chairman of the U.S. Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Personnel. He represents Alabama in the United States Senate and is a member of several committees including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, HELP, and Aging.
