U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville from Alabama has announced his new senior team as he gears up to support President Trump in the 119th Congress. Jordan Doufexis will take on the role of Chief of Staff, transitioning from his previous position as Deputy Chief of Staff and State Director. Mary Blanche Hankey, who served as Chief of Staff, will now be Chief Counsel and Senior Advisor. Kaitlin Stoddard steps into the role of Legislative Director, while Mallory Jaspers continues her work as Communications Director.
Senator Tuberville expressed confidence in his team: “If there’s one thing I learned during my coaching career, it is the importance of recruiting a strong team,” he said. He praised Doufexis for being "a proven winner" and highlighted Hankey's experience in legal advisory roles within his office and her past positions at the U.S. Department of Justice under President Trump.
Stoddard joined Tuberville’s policy team in 2021 and has managed various portfolios including veterans and immigration. She previously worked under President Trump's administration at both the Department of State and Homeland Security.
Jaspers joined Tuberville’s communications team in 2023 with a background that includes high-profile roles across multiple government agencies.
Tuberville stated: “I’m proud of the all-star team I’ve assembled and am confident that I have the right leadership in place to continue to be a sledgehammer for President Trump in the 119th Congress.”
Jordan Doufexis brings over ten years of political experience within Alabama, having been involved with local, state, and national races before joining Tuberville's campaign efforts.
Mary Blanche Hankey hails from Florence, Alabama, bringing extensive legislative experience including serving former U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions.
Kaitlin Stoddard is originally from Vestavia Hills, Alabama, with prior service on Senator Jeff Sessions' staff and within the Senate Budget Committee.
Mallory Jaspers originates from Georgia and has held numerous communication roles including those within presidential campaigns and governmental offices at various levels.
Senator Tommy Tuberville serves on several Senate committees such as Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, Aging, and HELP Committees representing Alabama.
