Tuberville addresses farm bill and conservation at AACD annual meeting

Today, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville participated in the Alabama Association of Conservation Districts' (AACD) annual meeting held in Orange Beach, Alabama. During the event, Senator Tuberville addressed AACD members regarding his legislative agenda under the new Trump administration and Republican Congress.

Senator Tuberville discussed several key issues including the passage of the Farm Bill, tackling rising input costs, increasing reference prices for Title I commodities, eradicating feral swine, prioritizing working lands conservation programs, and expanding broadband access.

The AACD is a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting conservation efforts throughout Alabama. It aims to support farmers across all 67 counties in the state.

Senator Tommy Tuberville serves as Alabama's representative in the United States Senate. He is a member of several Senate committees including Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, and HELP.
