Today, U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville expressed concerns in an op-ed for the Daily Caller about the Biden-Harris administration's approach to veteran healthcare. The senator criticized what he perceives as limitations on community care access for veterans, which he believes is vital, particularly for those in rural areas.

Tuberville argues that bureaucratic hurdles are preventing veterans from accessing essential healthcare services. He urges a change in policy to ensure veterans receive the necessary care they deserve.

In his piece, Tuberville states: “Over the last four years, the Biden-Harris administration has made it clear its priorities lie anywhere but with America’s military service members." He references past events such as the Afghanistan withdrawal and vaccine mandates as evidence of misplaced priorities.

The senator emphasizes that community care options allow veterans to seek medical attention closer to home or with shorter wait times compared to VA facilities. Tuberville insists that these options should be expanded rather than restricted.

Senator Tommy Tuberville serves Alabama in the United States Senate and is part of several committees including Armed Services and Veterans’ Affairs.
