The South Alabama softball team returns home this weekend to open up Sun Belt Conference play with a three-game set versus Georgia State at Jaguar Field, but fans will have to wait one extra day as this weekend's series schedule has been adjusted.
Due to forecasted weather on Friday, game one of the series between South Alabama (16-9) and Georgia State (10-13) has been moved to Saturday, which will now become a doubleheader with game times set for 1 pm and 3 pm.
Single game ticket purchasers of Friday's now postponed contest can exchange their tickets in person as they arrive on Saturday for comparable open seating for the doubleheader or for any remaining home contest during the course of the 2023 season.
