Brinkley Goff Earns Third SSAC Softball Pitcher of the Week Honor During 2022 Season

31

Brinkley Goff of the University of Mobile Softball program was named SSAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the third time this season, the conference office announced on Monday, May 2. The award is based on performance for the week of April 25 – May 1, which saw Mobile take home the crown of 2022 SSAC Softball Champions.

Brinkley Goff pitched over 13 innings this past weekend in the SSAC Softball Championship Tournament, helping lead the Rams to a 4-0 week and second conference championship since 2019. Goff now leads Mobile with her three conference pitcher of the week honors this season, as fellow pitcher Emily Butts has earned two and second baseman Kaylee Pullin has earned one player of the week honor. She currently has a 0.92 earned-run-average in over 121 innings of work, while logging a perfect 20-0 record from the pitcher's circle.
