THEY SAID IT

Head Coach Nick Brochu

- On opening conference play:

"This is a big weekend for. We are on the road against two good teams and is going to be a good test. We competed at a very high level on our last road trip from Florida and we learned a lot from that. Hopefully, we can take the best out of that trip and apply it to this one. Everybody is always talking about the rivalry between us and Georgia State, which is a great rivalry. But at the same time, we have to go one match at a time. Georgia Southern is a good team. They have a new coach and a new roster. They have been training very hard so we have to focus on Saturday before thinking about Sunday. It doesn't matter if it is in the regular season or the conference tournament, every time we play Georgia State the level of play is really high. We have a lot of respect for each other but at the same time, it is a really big rivalry. I think the healthy rivalry really helps both programs. We are looking forward to a great weekend."
