South Alabama women’s basketball will play against the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Mitchell Center in Mobile, Alabama. This game is part of a doubleheader event.
The Jaguars have a record of 8-7 overall and are 1-4 in conference play. Their most recent game ended in a 67-107 loss to Arkansas State. In that matchup, Cordasia Harris achieved her eighth double-double of the season, which places her eighth nationally for total double-doubles. The team is currently ranked second in the Sun Belt Conference for both three-point shooting percentage (35.6%) and three-point defense (26.2%).
The Warhawks come into the game with a 7-7 record and are 2-3 in league play. They recently earned their first road win of the season by defeating Louisiana 61-51, marking their second conference victory. Graduate center Marcavia Shavers averages nine rebounds per game and contributed 12 points and 16 rebounds in the last outing against Louisiana. J’Mani Ingram is averaging 12.5 points per game this season.
