South Alabama Track & Field announces inaugural Go Jags Run 5K event

The South Alabama Track & Field program will hold its first “Go Jags Run 5K” on Saturday, October 18, at the University of South Alabama campus. The event aims to bring together students and the public for a morning run starting at 8:10 AM. Organizers encourage people of all fitness levels to join and interact with Jaguar student-athletes and coaches.

Registration is set at $30 for the general public, while USA students can sign up for $20 by showing a valid student ID. Those wishing to register on race day can do so for $40. Early registration is available online at https://usajaguars.evenue.net/events/TF5K.

Participants in the event will also have chances to win prizes such as Jaguar Athletics tickets, JagSwag, and other giveaways.

The race will begin at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the university campus. Registration on race day will take place in front of Hancock Whitney Stadium in Lot 105, which is marked in red on the campus parking map. Additional resources like a campus parking map and course map are provided online for participants’ convenience.
