South Alabama head softball coach Becky Clark has announced that Falyn Beebe will join the program’s 2026 recruiting class. Beebe, who is from Orange Beach, Alabama, and currently plays at Northwest Florida State College, becomes the latest addition to a group of recruits that includes Kaydn Bush, Emily Maddox, Emily Needham, Charlie Neumann, Irene Rabasco, and Abby Williams. These players are expected to join the team next fall.

Coach Clark commented on Beebe’s abilities: “Falyn is a corner outfielder and right handed hitter. She has a compete mindset and great work ethic that combine to make her a clutch player. She proved last year that she is not afraid of being in the moment as she had several big hits to help lead her team to a national championship. She is a great teammate, a leader, and genuinely loves the game. I think she will continue to grow as she gets in our weight room and overall system on a daily basis.”

During her freshman season at Northwest Florida State College in 2025, Beebe played an important role in leading the Raiders to their first-ever NJCAA National Championship with an overall record of 61-4 and an undefeated conference run. She earned first-team DI All-FCSAA honors as well as first-team all-Panhandle Conference recognition. Over 54 games, Beebe posted a .350 batting average with 48 hits—22 for extra bases—including 11 doubles, one triple, and 10 home runs. She scored 43 runs and recorded 46 RBIs.

Beebe also showed consistency with ten multi-hit games and fourteen multi-RBI performances during the season. Her notable games included driving in six runs against Lamar State College – Port Arthur with both a double and home run; hitting back-to-back homers twice during the year; going three-for-three against Snead State Community College; scoring three times in a win over Carl Sandburg College; recording four hits against Pensacola State College; repeating another three-hit performance versus Tallahassee State College; and driving in four runs against Gulf Coast State College.

Before college, Beebe lettered four seasons at Orange Beach High School where she was team captain for multiple area and regional title wins along with four state championships. As a senior she led her high school team to both state and MaxPreps National Championships while maintaining strong batting averages throughout her junior (.355) and senior (.298) years.

In addition to softball achievements, Beebe participated in basketball—helping lead her school to a Sweet 16 appearance—and volleyball—contributing to their runner-up finish at the state tournament.
