South Alabama’s men’s golf team has been recognized with the 2024-2025 Platform Golf Team Academic Award by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The Jaguars are among 292 schools nationwide to receive this honor, which is based on academic performance. The team achieved a year-long grade point average of 3.064 on a 4.0 scale and recorded a GPA of 3.357 for the spring semester.
The program is one of 92 Division I schools to be acknowledged as an All-America Team this year. This marks the seventh time South Alabama has earned this award in its history, with previous recognitions in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
