The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has acknowledged the academic achievements of three members from the South Alabama men’s basketball program for the 2024-25 season. Former players Cantia Rahming and Elijah Ormiston, along with current forward Randy Brady, were recognized by being named to the NABC Honors Court. This accolade is awarded to junior or senior student-athletes who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher during the academic year.

Elijah Ormiston has earned this honor for the second consecutive year while at South Alabama. In addition to these individual recognitions, the Jaguars received the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for maintaining a collective team GPA of 3.0 or higher throughout the academic year, marking their second straight year achieving this honor.
