South Alabama’s men’s basketball team will start its 2025-26 Sun Belt Conference season with four consecutive road games, according to the schedule released by the Sun Belt Conference. The Jaguars will open conference play on December 17 against ULM in Monroe, Louisiana, followed by a game at Texas State on December 20.
This year marks a change from previous seasons, as South Alabama will face three conference opponents before the end of December. After the first two games, the Jaguars continue their road trip with a New Year’s Eve matchup at Louisiana and then travel to Troy for a game on January 3.
The team’s first home conference game is scheduled for January 10 against Georgia Southern at the Mitchell Center. This is followed by home games against Arkansas State on January 15 and Louisiana on January 17.
A short road stretch follows with visits to James Madison on January 22 and Marshall on January 24. The Jaguars return home to close out January with games against Coastal Carolina (January 29) and Georgia State (January 31).
In February, South Alabama travels to Appalachian State on February 4 before returning home for the MAC-SBC Challenge on February 7. The final away games are set for Southern Miss (February 12) and Arkansas State (February 14).
The regular season concludes with four straight home games: Texas State (February 19), Troy (February 21), ULM (February 25), and Southern Miss (February 27). The Jaguars will then prepare for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, which takes place March 3-9 at the Pensacola Bay Center.
