South Alabama Football will conduct walk-on tryouts on Monday, August 25 at the Jaguar Training Center. The event is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. CT.
To be eligible, prospective walk-ons must be full-time students at the University of South Alabama with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Additionally, they need to have completed a physical examination at the South Alabama Health Center and obtained their Sickle Cell test results.
Candidates are required to submit several documents by August 21 at 5 p.m. CT, including a copy of their fall class schedule for 2025, proof of a GPA of at least 2.5, insurance documentation, and an updated physical from the Student Health Center on campus. They must also fill out a Tryout Form and provide sickle cell and medical packets to Andrew Burkett at the Football Fieldhouse.
