We needed to get a win – really important for us – and now we can get some rest for what will be a tough game against Marshall next Friday … It was an overall really good team effort, and it’s good to get the win.”
Kotsopoulos commented on her milestone: “[My first career goal] made me really happy, and it was really important to me to help the team, especially against this hard team on a hard Sunday.”
South Alabama will host Marshall at The Cage on Friday, October 10 at 7 p.m.
