Samford falls to Bowling Green in NCAA Division I baseball; Druckenmiller starts for Bulldogs

Drew Druckenmiller, a former Faith Academy player, started for the Samford Bulldogs as they lost 7-1 to the Bowling Green Falcons in an NCAA Division I baseball contest on Friday, Feb. 27, at 4 p.m.

The game was hosted at Joe Lee Griffin Field and marked the Bulldogs’ opening matchup against the Falcons this season.

Druckenmiller pitched three innings, conceding five earned runs while attaining two walks and seven strikeouts.

The Bulldogs will face Bowling Green again at Joe Lee Griffin Field on Saturday, Feb. 28, with the game set to begin at 11 a.m.
