After another strong season, Hannah Maddux has signed a contract with the Orlando Valkries of the Pro Volleyball Federation. The Valkries recently won the league title.
Maddux averaged 14.65 points and 12.55 kills per match in her second professional season, also tallying 41 total blocks. She surpassed 20 kills in eight matches, including a season-high of 29 kills against the Atlanta Vibe. In February, she was selected for the 2025 Pro Volleyball Federation All-Star Match.
She ranked fourth in the PVF for points with 419 (4.15 per set), fifth in kills with 360 (3.56 per set), and tied for sixth with 18 service aces.
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Maddux was drafted by the Las Vegas Thrill as the 26th overall pick in the PVF’s first draft in 2023.
In her rookie year, Maddux recorded 466 kills on a .258 hitting percentage, averaging 4.06 kills per set—third highest in her conference and ranking thirty-sixth nationally. During her time at South Alabama, she notched 54 service aces and contributed to two NCAA tournament appearances for the program.
Maddux completed her collegiate career at South Alabama among the top players in school history, placing in the top ten for career block assists and kills per set, and top five for total kills and attempts. She played a key role as South Alabama became a contender within its league.
She received first-team all-conference honors consecutively in 2022 and 2023, earned Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week twice in 2022, and secured second-team all-league recognition in 2021.
