College Sports Communications named four members of the South Alabama Jaguars women’s basketball team to its 2025-26 Academic All-District Women’s Basketball Team, according to a March 26 announcement. The honorees are Cordasia Harris, Chrysta Narcisse, Diawna-Carter Hartley, and Amyah Sutton.
The recognition highlights student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. Each All-District selection is eligible for consideration on the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
Harris, a graduate student and co-captain from Collirene, Alabama, averaged nearly 11 points and almost nine rebounds per game. She also recorded 13 double-doubles over the season while maintaining a 3.50 grade point average as she pursues her Master’s in Business Administration.
Narcisse earned Sun Belt All-Tournament Team honors this year and averaged just over eight points across her appearances. She is majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a GPA of 3.75.
Sutton led the Jaguars in scoring with an average of nearly twelve points per game and started all season contests. She holds a GPA of 3.52 as an Interdisciplinary Studies major. Carter-Hartley also majors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a GPA of 3.60; she recorded four double-doubles during the season and led the team with 53 steals.
According to College Sports Communications, each honoree now advances for possible selection as an Academic All-American.
Broader recognition through these awards underscores the importance placed on academic achievement alongside athletic performance within collegiate sports.
