There were 1,138 American Indian or Alaskan Native students enrolled in Mobile County schools in the 2023-24 school year, 3.8% less than the previous year, according to the Alabama Department of Education.

Data showed that Mobile County welcomed 56,319 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, American Indian or Alaskan Native students comprised 2% of the student body to be the third least represented ethnicity in the county.

Among the 96 schools in the county, Citronelle High School recorded the largest enrollment of American Indian or Alaskan Native students in the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 109 students.
