South Alabama Football has gained further preseason attention with eight players named to the 2025 Athlon Sports Preseason All-Sun Belt teams. The announcement was made Thursday.
Three players from South Alabama were included in the All-Sun Belt First Team. Running back Kentrel Bullock and wide receiver Devin Voisin received First-Team Offensive honors, while linebacker Blayne Myrick was recognized on the First-Team Defense.
The Second Team featured three more Jaguars. Offensive lineman Jordan Davis was named to the Second-Team Offense, linebacker Darius McKenzie earned Second-Team Defense honors, and Aleksi Pulkkinen was selected as the Second-Team’s Punter.
Safety Wesley Miller earned a spot on the Third Team, while offensive lineman Malachi Preciado was named to the Fourth Team, completing South Alabama’s representation.
The team will begin its 2025 season at home against Morgan State on Saturday, August 30 at Hancock Whitney Stadium. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
