Daniela Gonzalez to compete for Colombia in FIBA Women’s AmeriCup

Daniela Gonzalez is preparing to represent Colombia in the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup. The tournament begins tomorrow in Santiago, Chile.

Gonzalez, a senior from Jamundí, Colombia, has previously competed in the AmeriCup in 2019, 2021, and 2023.

The competition features ten teams divided into two groups. Group A includes the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Canada, El Salvador, and Brazil. Group B consists of Mexico, Colombia, the United States, Chile, and Puerto Rico.

The Group Phase starts tomorrow with Bracket play commencing on July 4. The schedule for Colombia is as follows:

– June 28 at 4:40 p.m.: vs. Puerto Rico.
– June 29 at 7:10 p.m.: vs. USA.
– June 30 at 4:40 p.m.: vs. Mexico.
– July 1 at 7:10 p.m.: vs. Chile.
– July 4 (time TBD): Bracket Play – Quarterfinals.
– July 5 (time TBD): Bracket Play – Classification/Semifinals.
– July 6 (time TBD): Bracket Play – Classification/Medal Games.
