The Miles Golden Bears, featuring former Saraland High School standout Cameron Warren, secured a 14-8 victory over the Kentucky State Thorobreds in their NCAA Division II baseball game at noon on Saturday, March 7.
Western Hills Baseball Field hosted the two teams’ first meeting of the season.
Warren notched one hit in his only at-bat of the game, collected one run, three RBIs and drew two walks.
The Golden Bears are set to face Kentucky State Thorobreds again at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at Western Hills Baseball Field.
