Former South Alabama baseball player Brendan Donovan has been selected for the 2025 National League All-Star Team. Donovan, who played college baseball for the University of South Alabama, is now part of a select group of former Jaguars to achieve this honor. He joins previous All-Stars Luis Gonzalez, David Freese, Lance Johnson, and Jon Lieber.
During the current season with the Saint Louis Cardinals, Donovan has played in 82 games. His performance includes a batting average of .296 from 318 at-bats, accumulating 94 hits. These include 22 doubles and seven home runs with 32 runs batted in. Additionally, he has drawn 31 walks and achieved three stolen bases.
The upcoming MLB All-Star Game is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta. The game will begin at 7 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on FOX.
