On Sunday, March 30, former Saraland High School standout Ben Riley Flowers’ current college team, the Southern Miss Golden Eagles, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Alabama Jaguars.

The game took place at Pete Taylor Park. This was their third matchup against the Jaguars this season.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park against Tulane Green Wave.
